Careers

Our students are exposed to the advantages of the University of Otago's network as well as career support workshops run for the programme.
Because our programme is small, we get to know our students very well and are therefore very well placed to recommend students to our network of employers and recruiters both in New Zealand and overseas.

Our graduates have an excellent reputation in the international business arena and are well known throughout the world for their independence and practicality derived from the Otago culture.

Careers Office

The University of Otago's Careers Office arranges presentations by employers of interest to MBA students and keeps students abreast of developments in that area. As well as providing specific workshops on employment search, CV design and interview skills, they are able to assist with a wide range of enquiries - from the exploration of career ideas and course advise, to information about specific jobs and employers.

Alumni Network

We have a small but active Alumni who have direct knowledge and experience of the Otago programme; they know the calibre of the intake and the capabilities of the graduates. It is therefore no surprise that our alumni are also an active career support mechanism for MBA and dBA students.
