Sport has always been a part of my life, defining my free time, social circles, academic focus, and now career ambition. After spending my twenties exploring the world and myself, I am now completing an MBA with the aim of pursuing a career in the sports industry.

Once I decided to complete an MBA, the search for a course that suited my needs and wants was a lengthy process. I had completed my undergraduate at Otago, but I had also lived overseas for 6 years and wanted to enhance this international experience in an academic context. The key selling points of the Otago MBA however were its affordability (the ability to get a student allowance as a New Zealander was crucial), more intimate class size, and the possibility of completing an exchange with another internationally recognised school and thus gain the international experience I sought. In addition, I applied for the course from overseas and Otago provided the most personal and prompt feedback.

This decision is something I have never regretted. The workload has been intense but enjoyable, particularly because of the great classmates and teachers.
