Having studied Molecular Life Sciences, which aims towards medical research, I gained some experience working in research laboratories before turning to consulting.  As a consultant, I have worked on projects in multiple industries, including utility companies, hospitals and churches.

During my course of study I have spent 3 semesters at the University of New Mexico on a stipend and had the chance to take courses beyond my regular curriculum (including International Management, Marketing and Spanish). During this time I have also worked closely with the International Office and assisted foreigners at the university, which strengthened my interest in different cultures, languages and personalities.

In addition to my training in natural sciences I feel that in order to advance with a career in business, I need to build a solid knowledge and skill set in management and economics. I am particularly interested in industries related to the health sciences, hospital management as well as pharmaceutics and biotechnology. The Otago MBA was my first choice due to the intense learning environment with small class sizes, the internationality of the program at an exciting location and the excellent reputation paired with a commitment of the team that has been observed in the application process already.

I enjoy multiple sports, soccer being my favourite, music (playing the piano and trying to learn other instruments as well as listening to) and getting to know different cultures, places and views.
