OtagoMBA Students' Thanksgiving Dinner

OtagoMBA Students' Thanksgiving Dinner

On Friday night the MBA students cooked dinner for the teaching faculty, management team and other guests at the Executive Residence.

Thanks to our Canadian students we were treated to a Canadian Thanks Giving Dinner complete with turkey and Pumpkin Pie!!

The students initiated the event, wishing to cook for their guests as a means for socalising between staff and students as the final module of the Dunedin-based MBA year gets underway.

It was a great night; though it would have been nice for the Canadian students to warn us that velcro/elastic waisted pants are usually adorned for such an event!!

That is so cool. I was lucky enough to be treated to a Canadian Thanks-giving with all the trimmings a year back. Hope it made everyone feel a little closer to home.
